Natural colored wood materials are assembled together into a board with a beautiful mosaic pattern, and sheets of this board are pasted onto boxes for decoration. There are approximately 60 different mosaic patterns. Japanese wood mosaic is called "Yosegi" (Koyosegi). The "sun" in the name is a Japanese form of measurement. Each "sun" is approx. 1.2 inches in box length. The more steps in the name - the harder it is to open the box. The last part of the title is the name of the pattern displayed on the box.
